Hon. Angela Cassell Bushis the Commissioner with oversight of International Gateway Services and Internet Governance at the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA), where she leads national initiatives to strengthen cybersecurity, elevate internet governance, and drive the ongoing redelegation and modernization of Liberia’s country code top level domain (ccTLD)—a key step toward enhancing the country’s digital sovereignty and resilience.
She brings more than 15 years of high level experience in fiscal management, administration, regulatory compliance, and public policy, having previously served as Minister of Transport, Deputy Minister for Expenditure and Debt Management at the Ministry of Finance, and Consultant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Her leadership record includes oversight of major donor funded programs supported by the World Bank, the African Development Bank, and the Global Environment Facility (GEF), ensuring strong governance, accountability, and effective implementation.
